NFC cards

One touch opens the story that belongs to this device.

Eliozz binds one audio version to a prewritten NFC card. The card is a doorway, not storage: the real recording stays on your iPhone or iPad.

Bind and use a card

01

Choose an audio version

Open story details and swipe right on the version you want to bind.

02

Bind the card

Tap “Bind NFC card” and scan an official prewritten card when prompted.

03

See the marker

A small Eliozz badge appears beside bound audio so it is easy to recognise.

04

Touch to play

Touch the card and tap the iOS NFC notification. The app locates and autoplays it once.

NDEF · URL

What is stored on the card?

Only a random link similar to https://e.eliozz.com/e/… The website has no story database and cannot identify a person or recording from that link.

No recording

Audio is never written to the NFC card or uploaded to the Eliozz website.

No identity

The card contains no name, account, story title, or device identifier.

Device-only binding

The same card on another device does not receive the first device’s story.

iPhone & iPad

Device compatibility

Binding requires an iPhone with Core NFC support. An iPad without NFC scanning can still install Eliozz and use recording and playback, but it cannot actively scan a card.

Unbind or transfer

Swipe right on bound audio to unbind it. If a card belongs to another audio version, Eliozz names the source and transfers it only after confirmation, keeping one card paired with one version.

Before you begin

  • The app does not initialise or write blank NFC tags; cards must be prewritten and locked during production.
  • Deleting the app, erasing the device, or lacking a restorable backup may remove recordings and local bindings.
  • The first release does not verify a digital signature, so a copied valid Eliozz link may also be accepted.
  • iOS shows a system notification first; the user must tap it to open the app.

Start with one story and one card.

Download Eliozz, open story details, and swipe an audio version right to find NFC actions.
